Live Meeting instructions

Important Note: You will need access to the Live Meeting email invitation your facilitator sends you to get started on the day of your training session.

What to do by 3 days before your training session:

  • Watch for an invitation from your trainer to join a Live Meeting in your email inbox.
  • Read the instructions in the message carefully. If you choose, you can install the Windows-bassed Console a few days before your session. The other option is to use the Web-based console (no downloading or installation required). Both versions are fine for this session.
  • Call your PLSB contact if you have any concerns about the Live Meeting or other session software.

What to do on the day of your training session:

  1. 15 - 30 minutes before your session:
Use the 'Click here to Join Live Meeting' link in the email invitation.
    • It will take a minute or two for you to be connected. If you choose to use the Web-based console, cancel the option to download the Windows console and wait for the option to use the Web console.
  2. 5-10 minutes before your session:
dial the number specified in your invitation to join the teleconference. Use the access code supplied.
